
Coach Paul better known as Coach Cherry learnt his craft at the famed Brixton Topcats program coached by Paul Ambrosius and Jimmy Rogers (RIP). Coach Cherry has played basketball for over 20 years winning the National cup twice, The British basketball league twice, division 1, 2 and 3 titles alongside a BUCS title with LSBU in 2008 where he captained the team. Coach Cherry also represented England and Great Britain at International level and had a reputation as a fierce point guard. His philosophy is you don't lose till you quit and he is a History teacher and secondary school headteacher when away from the basketball court.

Coach Dwayne Martin also known a Coach DTrain is a naturalised American who came over to the UK to play basketball professionally after attending division 1 NCAA team Towson on a full basketball scholarship. Coach Dwayne was an awesome player in the UK winning 3 straight division 1 players of the year awards from 1993-1996.
Coach martin has coached 2 teams to national junior titles and is excited about the growth of basketball in Croydon. Coach Dwayne runs the DA FIRM BASKETBALL CLINIC with a focus on developing young people and introducing them to the sport.

Coach Percy come to the Cougars with over 14 years experience coaching basketball, wheelchair basketball, disability sports and football. Coach Percy has a passion for youth development and ensuring all players have a pathway to a successful future either through sports or education.
Coach Percy has built a foundation which supports grass roots sports development in Ghana and he was one of the torchbearer at the London 2012 Olympic Games in recognition of his commitment to youth sprts and development.

Coach Warsame has played with the Cougars for over 12 years and has now completed the circle by coming back to coach the next generation. Coach Warsame spends a lot of time mentoring the younger players so that they are able to relate their lived experience to the fundamentals we teach at basketball club.

Kai Walker joined cougars in 2014 with no basketball background. Moving to Raynes Park high school as a footballer trying out basketball and falling in love instantly to nowin 2025 playing professionally in England and many countries all over the world. Kai coaches camps and helps out with cougars giving back to the club that got him started and to where he is today hoping to give the same to the next generation
